As long as the [Purge] option is selected in the [ Options ] toolbar tab, any items that are removed from the catalogue will be deactivated and then placed into the purge bin rather than being deleted permanently from the database. The Purge Bin is a specific virtual storage location defined in the Item Locations category of the lookup manager.
