+{{:lostplot:manual:writer_0001.jpg?200 |}}In order to start the **//LostPlot//** content editor, click the [📇] icon on the right hand side of the Index Card title. This will start a __Writer__ dialog, initially loaded with the __Content__ of the currently selected card.
+it is advised to use a Writer dialog to develop the final authored __Content__ text rather than the __Details__ editor as the Writer provides additional facilities to assist in this process, as well as auto-updating of the __Document__ pane.
+Further details in the use off the Writer dialog can be found in the Writer sections of the manual.
+The Writer also respects the Auto-Save Content option, and will update the database in real-time (i.e. not just when the dialog is closed) as changes are made.
