===== What is BISON? =====

{{:pergamonmu:bison:bison_logo_128px.png?nolink |}} BISON is the combined replacement for all Pergamon Mu importer software, issued prior to Peragamon Mu v1.2.2, as well as containing a range of new features that allow stock checking and receiving larger quantities of resources from centralised providers such as SLSs.

**Note:** BISON utilises the database version issued with Pergamon Mu v1.3, but can still be used with earlier versions - BISON will install a range of new database tables and settings for use with BISON features on first use of the software but is best used with Pergamon Mu v1.3 onwards, to be issued Summer 2018.

{{ :pergamonmu:bison:install_02.png?direct&200|}} On starting BISON, you may be presented with an information dialog stating that you are using a Pergamon Mu version older than v1.3 (database release v1.1) - this is not a fault. Simply click **[Yes]** to continue and the message will disappear once you have upgraded.
