====== Encrypt SQLite Database ======

The Encrypt SQLite database triggers encrypts the database with military grade protection using the Pergamon internal keys. This encryption is real-time however, so the database can continue to be used normally - it **does not need to be decrypted for everyday use**. Once activated, only software using the same Key can access the database.

By default, all Pergamon MU installations have encryption turned **on**.

**Note** - This tool is only intended for use with standalone (SQLite) databases. Networked installations using third-party databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.) have their own similar tools.
