Opening an Existing Project

In order to open an existing project, click the [Open] toolbar icon. This will display a dialog displaying all of the projects currently in your account.

Projects are displayed within their [Grouping] names, with any projects created without a group appearing in the [Ungrouped] section. Click the arrow to the left of the group name to open the group and view the projects contained within it.

Select the required project from the list, then [Open] to load the project.

Optional Display Options

By default, opening a project will load and display all Index Cards in the project.

Optionally, you can alternately select:

  1. Display first 10
  2. Display last 10
  3. Display as saved

The [Display as saved] option displays the index cards as they were displayed during the last session with the project.

The two limited number options are useful once your project grows in size. While loading a project takes only a short amount of time, local web browsers can take time to construct complex displays - rather than being a simple webpage, LostPlot is a web-application which may display many elements that can be clicked by the author.

By selecting to restrict the display of the project, LostPlot will load all of the index cards but only initially display a limited number of cards, greatly increasing display speed. Additional cards can be displayed later by selecting the [Range] toolbar icon.
