While it is possible to change both the typeface and text size in a Writer dialog, these changes are not reflected in the final Document pane. The font and sizes of font are controlled totally by the MarkDown and Fountain tags applied to the raw text, and the styles attached to these tags for the various option style-sheets that can be applied to the final document.

By changing the typeface and text size within the Writer however, an author can create a more comfortable typing environment that matches their own ergonomic needs.

The size of font can be changed from 10pt to 18pt in 2pt increments, as well as 24pt and 32pt.

The current typefaces possible within the Writer are:

• Quicksand
• Courier
• Times
• Palatino
• Ariel / Helvetica
