The Select Index Parent is displayed during the dynamic creation of new lookup items within a functional area of Pergamon (i.e. not through the Manage Lookup dialog).

The Select Index Parent dialog will only be displayed if the category in which the new lookup item is being created is recognised as being a sub-group. For example, creating a new item called 'Hindu' would require the user to select which of the Equal Opportunity groups it belongs to.

The range of possible groups is automatically detected. Select the required group from the drop-down list, then click the [Select] button.
