Catalogue: Adding and Removing from Existing Packages
Unlike Lists and projects which record their contents using criteria, and are therefore dynamically updated, the Package system only contains those items which have been specifically placed within them.
While most packages are populated using the Package Manager, there occasionally comes a time when an item needs to be added to or removed from a package in normal, everyday operations. Rather then using the full Package Manager for this process, to search out first the package and then item, it is possible to perform these tasks quickly from the Catalogue Manager [BISON] toolbar tab.
Adding an Item
To add a selected item to a package, change to the [BISON] toolbar tab then click the [Add To] toolbar icon in the [Package] toolbar group to display the list of current item packages available to receive the item. Click the package in the list that should receive the item - the item is attached to the package.
Removing an Item
To remove a selected item from a package, change to the [BISON] toolbar tab then click the [Remove] toolbar icon in the [Package] toolbar group to display the list of item packages to which this item is currently attached. Click a package name in the list to remove the item from the package.
