Mystic Help

Uploading a File

The [Upload File] dialog is utilised in a number of locations around Mystic, including the upload of Catalogue and Reader import files, Catalogue and Reader Attachments and other archive manipulation functions.

As far as is possible, Mystic will present a common upload dialog that is the same on all browsers and operating systems, though there may be minor differences which are outside the control of the Mystic application.

Selecting A File(s)

To select a file for upload, click the [+] button at the bottom of the selected file list. When selected, a file select / open dialog will be presented which is in keeping for your workstation (this dialog is under the control of your operating system, not Mystic).

Use the file select / open dialog to select the file(s) that you want to upload, then click [Select], [Open] or which ever button the dialog provides for accepting the selection.

When selected, Mystic will display all of the filenames selected in the list part of the dialog. You can click [+] again to select more files, or select one or more files and click [-] to remove them from the list.

Note, that at this point, the files have not been uploaded. You have just selected them for upload.

Upload The Files

Once the list displays all of the files that you wish to upload on this occasion, click the [Upload] button at the bottom of the dialog.

Mystic will inform you when the files have been uploaded to the Mystic server. Note, that depending upon your local upload speed, activity on your network, and the size of the files being uploaded this may take a little time - wait patiently until Mystic displays the result of the upload action.
