Local Options
The [Local Options] dialog is available from many managers and functional dialogs when used by a suitably authorised staff user.
The local options dialog for most managerial dialogs displays a locally oriented set of options and settings which would normally be available from the Lookup Manager but which in this case has been restricted only to those options and settings which are directly applicable to the area being used.
In most cases, the settings and options displayed are check-boxes which can be turned on or off, though some rarer cases require the input of values.
Option Meaning
Where possible, a [?] button is provided so that a very short summary of the purpose of each option can be displayed.
Click the [?] option button to replace the text at the top of the dialog with the help text.
Saving the Option Changes
Once changes have been made, click the [Save] button to save the changes into the database.
It is advised that once saved, the managerial dialog which is being changed should be closed and reloaded to ensure that the changes take effect,
In rarer cases, options in the Local Options dialog also have meaning globally throughout the entire application (e.g. length of barcodes, values to be stripped from barcodes scanned using a scanner etc,) and so the user should log-out and log back in so that these changes take effect in all functions of Mystic.
